These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at deocare.com (the “Site”) and the services provided by Deo Care Inc. (“Deo Care,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our Site or services, or by consenting to receive our messages, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Site or services.
You must be at least 18 years old to use our services, or be an authorized parent, guardian, or representative acting on behalf of a patient. By using our services, you represent that you meet this requirement.
Deo Care provides patient care navigation and coordination — including help with medical-records retrieval, insurance benefits verification, prior authorization, appeals, scheduling, and coordination with your treating practice and providers. We provide administrative and navigation support; we do not provide medical care. Patients enroll in person during a one-time onboarding at their treating practice (on a Deo-provided device) and communicate with Deo Care by text message thereafter; deocare.com itself is an informational website.
Our Site and services are for administrative and informational support only and are not medical advice. Using our Site or services does not create a physician–patient or other clinical relationship with Deo Care. Always consult your healthcare provider for medical decisions. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate care.
You agree to provide accurate information, to use our Site and services only for lawful purposes, and not to interfere with or misuse our systems or attempt to gain unauthorized access.
By opting in — during onboarding, on a consent form, or by another approved method — you agree to receive care-related text messages from Deo Care and to these SMS Terms.
The Site and its content are owned by Deo Care or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Site for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without our permission.
Our services involve third parties such as your providers, health plans, and our service providers (for example, our messaging, hosting, EHR, and payment providers). We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or content of third parties.
Our Site and services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any particular result (such as approval of an authorization or appeal) will be achieved.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deo Care and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from or related to your use of our Site or services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Deo Care from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or services or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting help@deocare.com.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the Effective Date above. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
We may suspend or end your access to the Site or services at any time if you violate these Terms or as needed to operate lawfully and safely.
